The Phlight of the Purple Pigs

April 14, 2011 By Ben Sclair

By Jim Endicott

The Purple Pigs continue to invade Lakewood. The exquisite Porco spent 2 weeks in Cascade Bagel and Deli in the loving care of co-owners, Bob Bringer and Betty Murrie. Porco is looking for another Lakewood business to spend some time raising money for the American Cancer Society through the 2011 Lakewood Relay For Life. The 18-hour walk (“because cancer never sleeps”) is at Harry Lang Stadium on June 3rd and 4th.
