Evelyn Olsen Michael Kane Eaton, 11/21/1914 – 4/4/2011. Evelyn was born in Tacoma, WA to Anton and Hannah Olsen. A life-long resident, she was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, husbands Victor Michael, Donald Kane, and Clarence Eaton, and daughter Janice Hardeman. She is survived by her daughter Donna Kane, nieces Phyllis Atkins and Muriel Malone, six grandchildren, and many beloved great- and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. William McShaneWilliam “Bill” Jordan McShane, 11/6/1934 – 4/10/2011, was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He loved life, and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Married to his wife Phyllis for 53 years, had two children, Susan and Mike, and a brother, Jack. Memorial service in the Mountain View Aspen Chapel on 4/14/2011 at 1pm. Ronald “Pete” Peterson. October 9, 1929– April 8, 2011. A lifetime Tacoma resident, he retired from Brown & Haley after 30 years. He was also an ordained minister who officiated at many weddings. Survivors include wife Eleanor, sons Douglas and David Ellis, sons Chris and Garry Quinden, daughter Natalie Quinden, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Graveside services at Mountain View Friday, April 15th, 2011 at 1:30 PM (viewing from noon-8:30 PM on Thursday). Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 253-584-0252. Arnold William Schweitzer passed away at home on April 9, 2011. He was born May 8, 1918 in Neche, ND. He served his country in World War II. After the war he married Betty Dee. They had two children and lived in several states in the Midwest before moving to Puyallup, WA in 1977. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty, daughter Sharon (Ken) Pearson, grandchildren Stephanie Schweitzer, Benjamin (Amyee) Pearson, Heather (Greg) Donohoue, Allison (Joshua) Judge, and Thomas (Meghan) Pearson. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, Sophia, Isaac, Audrey and Beau Pearson and Chris, Steven, Kara and Jovie Donohoue. He was preceded in death by his son Myron Schweitzer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. We will miss him so much. A memorial service will be held TODAY, Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 1 PM at Praise Covenant Church, 3501 S. Orchard St., Tacoma, WA. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 253-584-0252.
