Twice each year Bridgeport Place hosts a Driver Safety Course presented by AARP. Tune up your driving skills and update your knowledge of the rules of the road with defensive driving techniques. The eight-hour course is split over two days’ time with classes held from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23. Free lunch is provided courtesy of Bridgeport Place for all attendees both days. Call 253.565.1960 to register. Classes fill fast and seating is limited. AARP members pay $12, non-members $14 for the course. Upon completion you may qualify for a discount on your auto insurance. Bridgeport Place Retirement and Assisted Living is located at 5250 Bridgeport Way West, University Place, WA 98467, just a couple of blocks south of where Cirque Drive intersects with Bridgeport Way West.
