LAKEWOOD — Clover Park High School senior Hana Page has been admitted to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a full scholarship through QuestBridge, a non-profit education organization. Hana says, “I am grateful and excited to receive the QuestBridge College Match scholarship. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to pursue my passion in math and science at the University of Pennsylvania”
Hana was born in Seoul, South Korea and was raised by a single mother. She is of the first generation in her family to attend college. Hana is active in her community and participates in the National Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa, Knowledge Bowl, Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement (MESA), and varsity golf. At the University of Pennsylvania, Hana plans to pursue an education in bioengineering to become a biomedical researcher and professor.
Based in Palo Alto, CA, QuestBridge connects high-achieving low-income students with opportunities at 30 leading colleges across the country including Yale University, Williams College, and Stanford University. In 2010, QuestBridge helped 310 high school seniors gain admission and full scholarships to top-tier colleges through the National College Match program.
