Free jazz concert at Lakewood library

People will listen to a free jazz concert at Lakewood Pierce County Library, 6300 Wildaire Road S.W., on Thursday, March 31, at 7 p.m. The Sonny Clark Memorial Sextet and Wayne Horvitz, Director of the School of Music Jazz Band at University of Puget Sound, will perform the musical composition “Nica,” a tribute to Pannonica de Koenigswarter, a patron of 1950s American jazz artists. FRIENDS of Lakewood Library sponsor this free event.
