Lakewood Chamber to meet April 7

March 24, 2011 By Ben Sclair

The Lakewood Chamber of Commerce will hold its General Membership Luncheon on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Broadway Joes’s – Great American Casino (10117 South Tacoma Way). Luncheon Cost – $20 prepaid — $30 at the door and for Non-Members. RSVP to 253-582-9400.

TIME TO GET FIRED UP! Guest Speaker Bob Williams is the Founder and Senior Fellow of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation (EFF), a public policy organization in Olympia, dedicated to the advancement of individual liberty. Bob will talk about the state of the state.

Some people call EFF a “think” tank; others a “do” tank. What sets them apart at the EFF (Freedom Foundation) is their determination to make rigorous, non-partisan rese…arch accessible to voters, not just politicians. They envision a day when opportunity, responsible self-governance, and free markets flourish in Washington state because its citizens understand and cherish the principles from which freedom is derived.

You won’t walk away from this luncheon without the knowledge that as entrepreneurs, our futures lie in our own ability to self-govern and we are the key to the success of free enterprise and self sufficiency for generations to come. Come get inspired!
