Curran Apple Orchard Park 2011 schedule

Upkeep of the Curran Apple Orchard Park in University Place takes a dedicated group of people. You can help out at any of the following work parties or attend any of the myriad events. Bring on the summer:

  • PRUNING/Work parties in the orchard. All on Saturday’s from 10:00 to 2:00,2011. Report to the barn for sign-up.
    March 12, April 9, May 14.
  • FREE INSECT TRAP WORKSHOP, and class, Saturday, June 11, 2011. 10:00 to noon. Hanging traps in the orchard trees until 2:00.Report to barn.
  • FREE SUMMER CONCERTS in the Orchard, All 6:30 to 8:00 PM; June 30, Battle of the Bands; July 14, Military band; July 28, TBA; August 11 TBA;
  • FREE 17th ANNUAL CIDER SQUEEZE, Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Volunteers needed for set-up and take down.

VOLUNTEERS are needed for all events in the orchard. Contact Molly Wolfe 253-564-2562 or UP Volunteer Center for information.
