Lt. Col. (Ret.) John L. Hamilton Born January 11, 1933 in Chicago; passed away February 5, 2011 in Tacoma at age 78. He served in the United States Air Force as a navigator and pilot from April 1954 to March 1973. John flew C130, C141 aircraft and served in the Vietnam War. He retired as a Lt. Col. with 20 years of service. John’s life was his family. He was a smart man with a witty sense of humor, and passion for his friends. John loved bowling, traveling, movies, and sports. He was his children’s and grandchildren’s “#1 Fan” at their games. John touched many lives. Preceded in death by his parents Mamie and Hurley, sisters Vi and Elise and brother Bill. Survived by his wife Dixie of 55 years, daughter Lisa Hickman (Shane), son John Hamilton, Jr. (Margie), and grandchildren Logan, Johnny, Julianna, Melissa, Megann, Richard and Thomas. He will be missed by all and through the hearts of his family and friends, his memory will live on for eternity. We love you John, Dad and Papa. Arthur Albert Maesner passed away on the February 24, 2011. He was born in North Dakota on June 27, 1921. He is survived by his two sons, Jeff and Ronnie. He served his Country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was then employed by the U.S. Postal service until his retirement. Life was good. It was filled with laughter and warm kinship with friends and relations. A Memorial Service will be held in the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, March 5 at 4:00 P.M. Arnold J. Montgomery Gone Home Died Feb. 28, 2011 at the ripe old age of 83. Arnold served in the Air Force, based in Okinawa. He came to Washington in the 1950’s and worked for Day’s Tailoring for many years. He is preceded in death by his wife Pam and son Arnold Jr. Arnold is survived by his son Roger (Myra), daughters Barbara and Brenda and daughter-in-law Ronda. He has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private family services are planned.
