Comcast has announced the top ten Video On Demand (VOD) orders in Puget Sound for the week ending Feb. 26, 2011. The Denzel Washington movie “Unstoppable” was indeed unstoppable, in that it unseated “The Social Network” as the No. 1 most watched movie.
There was a theme to the most popular two childrens’ videos: both starred Sponge Bob, and both episodes had love in the title: “Gary in Love” and “Krusty Love.” For the older crowd, it was nice to see a Scooby-Doo video in the top 5. That might give you an excuse to visit the massive Wikipedia entry on this classic series: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scooby-Doo
Comcast’s VOD service offers nearly 10,000 shows that customers can choose from each month, including a vast programming library for children, as well as movies, sports, music and other popular genres. Programs are available any time customers want to watch them-with the ability to fast forward, rewind and pause selections.
Nearly 95 percent of On Demand programs are available at no additional charge.
