Paul Bocchi announces his candidacy for the Lakewood City Council. As a current Board Member of Lakewood Communities in School and the Greater Lakes Mental Health Finance Committee, Paul is an active member of the community. He is a past board member of the Lindquist Dental Clinic for Children, the City of Lakewood Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee and the Clover Park School District Citizens Advisory Committee. Paul, his wife Holly and three children are involved in local schools, sports and recreational activities. Paul works as a budget analyst for Pierce County.
“Lakewood has made great strides over the last decade. To become a more vibrant and livable city we must continue to make improvements in public safety, recreational opportunities, transportation and job creation. To make this happen we must have sound fiscal stewardship and work cooperatively with community organizations, other governments, neighborhood groups and businesses. My background working in private business and finance as well as my experience working with community groups and schools will make me an asset on the City Council as we continue to improve Lakewood.”
Paul is running for the seat being vacated by Walter Neary, who has decided not to run for re-election.
