Brides Against Breast Cancer Nationwide Tour of Gowns will be bringing hundreds of beautiful, brand-new wedding gowns for sale to benefit Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to granting wishes to men and women battling stage IV breast cancer. Gowns will be on sale from Friday through Sunday (February 25-27) at the South Sound Wedding Show at the Clover Park Technical College’s McGavick Center. Gown prices range from $199 to $799 – that’s 25 to 75 percent off retail price. Accessories, such as veils, handbags and tiaras will also be for sale.
“In 2009 when South Sound Wedding & Event Magazine hosted the Nationwide Tour of Gowns, we raised $30,000 for Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation,” says Paula R. Lowe, publisher, South Sound Wedding & Event Magazine. “At the time, that was the most money they had ever raised in the Seattle-Tacoma area. These Tour of Gown sales are the largest fundraisers conducted by the foundation. We are happy to partner with a worthy non-profit organization as it benefits those who receive the wishes and our local brides get great bargains on their wedding gowns,” says Paula R. Lowe, producer of the show.
Engaged couples are invited to attend the show, along with their families and wedding attendants. Couples will receive a complimentary copy of South Sound Wedding & Event Magazine, and may register to win prizes.
