Well everyone, we are now under a wind advisory with this incoming system. A wind advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 MPH or gusts of 45 to 57 MPH are likely. Winds this strong can snap small tree branches, topple small or shallow rooted trees, and cause local power outages.
Tony Propp recently graduated high school. He is planning to attend The University of Oklahoma and is currently a National Weather Service (Skywarn) Storm spotter. He is also known nationally for his forecasts and storm chasing. His storm chasing team is called Mesochase which chases here in the Northwest as well as the Plains of northern Texas, through Oklahoma into Kansas.
