Wayne Knoll to head Korsmo Construction Small Projects Division

February 8, 2011 By Ben Sclair

Wayne KnollKorsmo Construction has hired Wayne Knoll to head and further develop its Small Projects Division. The division broadens Korsmo’s capabilities by allowing them to provide building solutions to clients with projects of smaller scopes. These projects are often demanding, involving tight deadlines, reduced budgets, and refined finishes. Many are in occupied spaces that require ongoing communication with building owners and minimized impact on staff and employees.

Wayne Knoll, previous owner of Tacoma based McConaghy Construction, brings over 35 years of experience to projects of this type. Wayne’s extensive background includes work as a skilled carpenter, job superintendent and owner-operator of a construction firm. This depth of experience gives him the skill and knowledge to successfully complete a wide range of projects including new construction, office remodels, renovations and tenant improvements. The division will capitalize on Korsmo’s capacity and capabilities while supporting new and existing clients in various markets including commercial office, health care, senior living, financial services and retail. “In the past, we referred work of this type to other local contractors. We’re excited to have a dedicated system now that allows us to offer our quality services directly to a wider client base regardless of the size or scope of their projects,” said John S. Korsmo, Jr., President of Korsmo Construction.
