Russell Daniel passed away February 1, 2011 at the age of 89 from a lengthy illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Rozella Daniel. He was born in St. Anthony, ID on April 18, 1921. He is also survived by daughters Beverly Brown and Perscilla Kindred (Patti), one son, Dennis Daniel, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He retired in 1986 as chief custodian with the Boze School District in Tacoma. He was also a member of the Tacoma Elks Lodge for several years. He enjoyed bowling and won several trophies and awards. The family would like to thank Group Health and Hospice for their excellent care. Ferrel Demar Gines, born November 17, 1935; passed away February 3, 2011. Beloved Father, Grandfather and Friend, Ferrel is survived by daughter Kathleen, son in-law Ron and their children Magan and Joshua and son Doug, daughter-in-law Julie and their sons Dustin and Dylan. Beverly B. Hamilton, age 83 passed away on January 30, 2011, in Tacoma, where she lived her entire life. She was born June 26, 1927, to Nell (Thornhill) White and Joseph White and raised in Fircrest. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 65 years, Walter C. Janet DeEtta Hart Passed away on Thursday, February 3rd, 2011. Born in Tacoma, Washington to Cleo H. and Viola N. Stephenson on November 22, 1938, Janet attended school in Tacoma and graduated from Clover Park HS in 1956. Outside of 3 years in Hawaii, Janet and her surviving husband of 53 years, LeRoy E. Hart, resided in the Tacoma/Puyallup area her entire life. Janet’s motherhood found her spending countless hours at the local dance studio supporting her children’s desire for the art. Her 2nd joy provided 25 fulfilling years working as a florist at Crystals Flowers in Spanaway before retiring to become a full-time grandmother. Janet was a gift of love, joy and support to all she touched. Her joy for the holiday season will resonate with loved ones forever. Pink, Hawaii, family, and pure unconditional love = Janet Hart. In Loving Memory Of Ray L. Lear, 06-20-1934 to 01-30-2011. A loving husband of 56 years to his surviving wife Jeannie. Devoted father of two, Lilyann (Jamieson) and Edy (Rhonda). Ray was a retired Army veteran of Vietnam. He served 22 years. He then took on the challenge of retiring from the Clover Park School District after 19 1/2 years, to his final achievement of Day Chief Custodian for Lakes High School. He was an active man, dedicating his life to helping others. He was a Boy Scout Master for Troop 116 on Okinawa. Upon his return to the USA he donated time and effort to helping the needy by painting houses for free for the poor. He is a man to be remembered for all the love he gave to us. Marjorie (Moeller) Lenz was born April 18, 1920 in Tacoma, WA and passed away January 31, 2011. Marge grew up in Tacoma and graduated from Lincoln High School. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Robert Lenz. They settled in Lakewood, WA in 1958 where Marge was a realtor and brokered her own real estate office for several years. She was charter president of the then newly organized Tacoma Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors. Marge enjoyed sports and music, and spent many hours playing bridge with friends in the Lakewood and Steilacoom area. She was a long time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lakewood. Her kindness and selfless caring and giving made her special to everyone who met her. Marge was a loving and devoted mother to her daughters, Dorothy Prescott and Kathryn Lewis. She is survived by her daughters, grandson Michael Lewis, great-granddaughter Jada Lewis, son-in-law Hal Prescott, two nephews and their families. Bernice Marline Lewis July 19, 1927 – Feb. 3, 2011 Bernice, age 83, passed away from a long battle with COPD at Franciscan Hospice House with her loving son Bobby and daughter Debbie at her side. Bernice was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all. She was an avid Bingo player at AmVets and BJ’s and enjoyed all the friends she met there. Bernice was preceded in death by husbands William J. Lewis & Robert E. Lewis, daughter Sharon and son Donald. She is survived by her three children, William Lewis (Lynn) Forks, WA, Robert A. Lewis, Tacoma, WA, Deborah Rivers (Will), Mount Vernon, WA, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. She will also be missed by her other family, Dennis & Lois McGinnis.
