LAKEWOOD, WA – Lakewold Gardens announces its first spring education class for 2011, Garden Photography, taught by professional photographer Jim Oliver. This is an introductory photography course that is geared toward the individual who is looking for techniques, tips and tricks for capturing outdoor subjects. Both instructional and hands-on, this unique format and setting will provide participants with an introduction to composition, balance, and light – then allow time to venture into the gardens to apply their new skills. Escape from the daily grind and spend a few hours a week exploring the gardens and garden photography.
Garden Photography will be held on Saturdays from March 19th – April 16th at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm. The course fee is $200 for members of Lakewold and $225 for non-members. Participants will need to bring their own digital camera of any kind and camera accessories (manual, tripod, etc.).
