* Police Chief Recognition: Chief Bret Farrar was honored this week with the award of Law Enforcement Administrator of the Year by the Washington Council of Police and Sheriffs (WACOPS). The formal presentation will be made in Olympia on February 2. The recognition is in acknowledgment of Chief Farrar’s leadership with officers and families during the difficult time following the murder of our four Lakewood officers 14 months ago.
