Garraway Eunice

Eunice K. Garraway Departed this life on Sunday, January 23, 2011. Eunice was the youngest of 13 children born to Marcellus and Mary Lou Washington-King on May 20, 1929 in Cuthbert, Georgia. Eunice was a retired beautician, a counselor at the former Cascade Youth Center, and a member of the St. John Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband CMS James C. Garraway, children Janice Garraway-Wilkins, James Dale, and Steven Van Garraway, grandchildren Lakisha Moody, Dante Wilkins, Meagan Garraway, and Sean Garraway, great-grandson Amorje Moody, sisters-in-law Doris Silver of Maryland, Johnnie (Marvin)EKing of New Jersey, and Bertha (Lloyd) King of Florida, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Funeral service at 12 noon on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Mountain View Valley Chapel (no visitation).  Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home 253-584-0252.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.mountainviewtacoma.com.

Thomas Michael Palmer 6/15/1953 – 1/21/2011 Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son. He was born in Tacoma, WA and graduated from Wilson H.S. in 1971. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Tom was an avid street rod hobbyist, woodworker, and an active member of Ron’s Night Crew. He worked for Weyerhaeuser for 24 years and could be found on weekends at his cabin, swap meets, car shows, or helping his family and friends. Tom is survived by Helen, his wife of 37 years, his mother Aileen Palmer, sons Keith (Tereasa) and Mark (Sara), 4 grandchildren, and his brother James (Sandy). Viewing will be held at Mountain View on Sunday, Jan. 30th from 10am to 9pm, and memorial services will be in the Mountain View Aspen Chapel Monday, Jan. 31st, 2011 at 1:00pm. Street rods encouraged.
