Pets of the Week

January 20, 2011 By Ben Sclair

Trapper

Trapper is a 3 year old neutered male.  He is a Labrador Retriever/ Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a HUGE smile. Trapper has a ton of energy and is looking for a home with an active lifestyle.  Need a jogging partner?  This is your dog!   He would love a home with older children. Trapper does have some arthritis in one knee, and a tooth that needs to be looked at, but he’s well worth the extra attention. Come meet Trapper today!

Dexter

Your eyes are not deceiving you, Dexter is a shaved cat.  This sweet boy came into the shelter when his owners divorced.  They had shaved him because he was matted.  Now he’s got a fresh start and needs a new family who will brush him. Dexter is a 3 year old neutered male.  He’s a buff colored domestic long haired kitty.  He is good with other cats and with dogs.  He’s been around older children as well. Dexter needs a forever home where he can get daily grooming and a diet.

Contact The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County, (253) 383-2733 for more information. You can now see all shelter pets online.
