Kiwanis upcoming speakers schedule

January 16, 2011 By Ben Sclair

By Mike Darrah, Community Relations Chair, Kiwanis Club of Clover Park

kiwanis

Kiwanis Club of Clover Park members are constantly reminded of our community efforts by the thank yous we receive every day. It is a wonderful feeling to know that our activities are making a difference in our Lakewood community.

Wouldn’t you also like to help your community by volunteering, by giving back. As we direct our passion to the enhancement of children, we help not only that child, but their family and ultimately our community. Join us as we give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream and succeed.

Did you know there is such a thing as a free lunch. We’ll buy you your first lunch when you attend a Kiwanis meeting, each Tuesday, 12:00-1:00 at the RAM Restaurant, 10019 59th Ave SW, Lakewood. Come see what we are all about. and help us help those families in need in your community.

Please keep in your prayers our military personnel who are away from their friends, family and loved ones and we wish each of them a safe journey.

* January 25, Joe Keller, Lakes High School Athletic Director
