She was a Cub Scout Den Mother and Blue Bird Leader and loved supporting her families’ hobbies including showing horses, racing motorcycles and showing cars. Some of mom’s hobbies included racing stock cars in powder puff races, bowling, sewing, gardening and reading. Later in life her grandchildren were her pride and joy, watching them grow and play in their various sporting events. Together they created many fond memories with family and friends at their lake property in Eastern Washington. After their daughter Kim moved to California they purchased a home there where they spent their winter months. Bea was preceded in death by her brother Gary Koch.
