U.P. City Council special meeting, Dec. 30

The University Place City Council will hold a special meeting on Thursday, December 30, 2010, 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room (3715 Bridgeport Way West). Following is the agenda:

6:30 pm 1. CALL SPECIAL MEETING TO ORDER – MAYOR PRO TEM

6:35 pm 2A-2H. CONSENT AGENDA

Motion: Approve or Amend the Consent Agenda as Proposed

CONSENT AGENDA APPROVAL OF BILLS/PAYROLL

The Consent Agenda consists of items considered routine or have been previously studied and discussed by Council and for which staff recommendation has been prepared. A Councilmember may request that an item be removed from the Consent Agenda so that the Council may consider the item separately. Items on the Consent Agenda are voted upon as one block and approved with one vote.
A. Approval of Claims and Payroll
B. Approve Application for Assumption of Liquor License from Ly Investments, Inc., dba: Jade Palace to Tran Family Investments, Inc.
C. Adopt a Resolution Repealing and Restating Public Safety Commission Resolution No. 639 to Reflect Changes that Standardize Language for all City Commissions
D. Adopt a Resolution Repealing and Restating Parks and Recreation Commission Resolution Nos. 588, 593, and 600 to Reflect Changes that Standardize Language for all City Commissions
E. Adopt a Resolution Repealing and Restating Economic Development Commission Resolution No. 628 to Reflect Changes that Standardize Language for all City Commissions
F. Pass an Ordinance Amending Chapter 2.25 of the University Place Municipal Code Regarding the Planning Commission to Reflect Changes that Standardize Language for all City Commissions
G. Accept “Friends of Colgate Park” as an Official Friend of the City
H. Approve Liquor License Renewals for Cheers West Sports Bar & Grill and Taquerie Burrito Loco

COUNCIL CONSIDERATION – (The following item(s) will require Council action.)

6:40 pm 3. INTERMODAL TRANSIT FACILITY PHASE III PROJECT BID AWARD – (Award the bid for

the Intermodal Transit Facility Phase III project.)
