Harold E. Brown. Born 4/30/1926 in Kelso, WA and passed away 12/24/2010 in Tacoma, WA.  Harold was preceded in death by his wife Juanita M. Brown in 1983 and his son William K. Phillips.  Harold is survived by 8 children; 28 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Service to be held 11AM Friday, 12/31 at “The Bridge” UMC, 5601 S. Puget Sound Ave, Tacoma, WA.  Viewing 1 hour before service.  Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.  Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center 253-566-1008.  Please share memories, condolences and view full obituary at www.edwardsmemorial.com

Floyd “Ed” Jones was born in Eliada, OH 11/7/1918; he was a carpenter when he was drafted into the US Army in 1942. He was commissioned in the US Army Air Corps and served overseas. At the end of WWII he left the service and returned to Ohio, where he attended Ohio Northern Law School. When the Korean War started, he returned to the US Air Force, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He retired in 1973 with 32 years of service. Ed was married to Fran for 62 years. She preceded Ed in death in 2008. Ed was a member of the Masonic Lodge, where was a greeter and a member of the Royal Jesters. Robert Meers

Robert Meers was born on Vashon Island to Edward and Mary Meers and passed away on December 11, 2010 after a long battle with congestive heart failure. He was retired from Bates Technical College following a 25 year career as a television broadcast instructor. Bob is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Ivene, children Teri (Ron) Wright and Keith (Carol) Meers, step children Tammy (Joel) Balmer and Greg (Tami) Martin, and grandchildren Andrew and Mary Miller, Khrystina Meers, Jayne Wright, Mitchell Balmer, Avery and Carly Martin. Bob will be remembered at a memorial service to be held at Mountain View Funeral Home in the Garden Chapel on Sat., January 8th at 1pm. Patrick M. Stafford passed away Dec. 18th, 2010 at age 67. Preceded in death by his stepson Kent Mundell.  Survived by his wife of 26 years, Patricia. Also two sons, Mark and Jeff, two daughters and one stepdaughter, Melissa, Amanda, and Dixie, and their families, Kent’s widow Lisa and her family. Julius Walker aka Grandpa, a WWII, Korean and Vietnam Vet went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 20, 2010.EHe leaves behind his daughters Elinor Rose and Melanie Carol, 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.  He now will rejoice with his wife Elinor and his sons Charles and Julius.He never met a stranger and was loved by all! See ya when I see ya Dad. Services will be held at Mountain View in the Valley Chapel on Monday Dec 27, 2010 at 12:00pm.
