For the 23rd year in a row, an anonymous donor contributed $22,000 worth of brand new clothing to needy Clover Park School District students. Clothing included coats, shoes, pants, sweaters, socks, underwear, gloves and hats.
The clothing was sorted, folded and labeled by staff members from the district’s student services department, district and community volunteers and students from Clover Park High School and Firwood Secondary School. School counselors and other school staff members picked up and distributed the clothes to needy students prior to winter break.

Myra Johnson, right, a counselor from Lakeview Hope Academy, and Rachel Hyde, a counselor from Mann Middle School, rear, picked up clothing for needy students at their schools.
