Myrna de Mille 1921 – 2010 Myrna was born in Fresno, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric. She is survived by four children and six grandchildren, Eric, daughters Michelle and Christina; James (Delores), sons Darron and Matthew; Donald (Catherine); Anne (Matthew) daughters Jennifer and Erin. Fortunato (“Fort”) Frias Gatbunton Passed away December 5, 2010 in Surprise, Arizona. He was born to Saturnino and Emiliana (Frias) Gatbunton in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija, Philippines on November 11, 1939. He was a member of the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966 and stationed in Fort Lewis. He was a musician who played the saxophone and clarinet. He also played the piano, which he enjoyed teaching to his grandson, Aidan. He loved dancing, playing pickle ball, singing karaoke, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved sports cars, especially his 1955 T-Bird, Barracuda, Firebird, SVX, and his Audi TT Roadster. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lourdes Corazon (Santos) Gatbunton, whom he has now happily joined in heaven. He is survived by his mother Emiliana, son Michael, daughter Christine Gatbunton Ocampo and husband Paul, granddaughter Nina, grandson Aidan, brothers Cesar, Benny, and Roy, sister Terry Gatbunton Medel, and their families, and many nieces and nephews. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and a dear friend to all who knew him. Although he missed his beloved Corazon, he was determined to live life to the fullest extent. Fort enjoyed the companionship of many relatives and friends and was a rock of support for many of them. He died doing what he loved, playing pickle ball and surrounded by many loving friends. A Memorial Vigil will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2010, 3:00 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home located at 4100 Steilacoom Blvd in Lakewood. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 13, 11:00 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church in Tacoma. Viola McCabe (Goodman) Age 85, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010, at her Otis Orchards, WA home, surrounded by her family. Born Friday, September 11, 1925, Viola lived in Tacoma most of her life working in the Pierce County Sheriff’s Civil Division more than twenty years. During her retirement years she enjoyed gardening, puzzling, and reading. Viola is survived by her older sister Josephine Wolters, a daughter Candy Nash, and sons Chris 6th and Peter. Seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren will deeply miss their grandmum. Mary Jane Moore Born June 10, 1919, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, her eldest daughter Mary Ellen Gray, and son Gerald Johnson. She left behind her son Michael, wife Roxane, daughter Teri, husband Robert, and daughters LuAnn and Debbie. Mary Jane also leaves behind grandchildren Jeremy, Ryan, Jason, Alyssa, Brandon, Aaron, Matt, Joanne and Janet and many great-grandchildren. Jazmyn Raye Morrison passed peacefully in the arms of her parents Andrea and Benedict Morrison and Godmother Barbara McFall on December 6, 2010 at Madigan Army Medical Center. She was born at 1:25 a.m. and met the eyes of Jesus at 3:20 a.m. the same day. Jazmyn Raye gave us a lifetime of love during her short time on earth and is survivded by four siblings: Justin, Jada, Janae and Jameson. Avalee Proper went home to be with the Lord On December 4th. She was born Aug. 18th, 1925 in Knox County,Ohio, the 12th child of Frank and Mattie Bradrick. She married Paul Proper of Mt. Vernon, Ohio in May of 1946. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Sgt/Major Paul Proper, and five children, Craig, Barbara Gail Michael, Jeffery, and Pamela. Paul and Avalee moved to Lakewwod in 1964. Avalee worked at the Post Exchange and later was a department manager at Ernst Hardware. Paul and Avalee were active with the local Shrine club.
