Only days away from the finish line – December 17 — and it’s a race now to fill the Holiday Food Baskets. University Place Lions Club has partnered with Bridgeport Place to collect non-perishable foods for eleven (11) needy families in UP.
Suggestions: hot and cold cereal, canned fruit, juices, canned vegetables, crackers, tuna fish, dried fruit, trail mix, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, rice, beans, lentils, olive oil, brownie mix, cake mix, cornbread mix, muffin mix, corn or canola oil, peanut butter, baby food, jerky, formula, granola bars, chili, pasta, noodles, spaghetti sauce, pickles, olives, cranberry sauce, refried beans, soup mix, ramen noodles, you-name-it.
Drop-off your donation in the Bridgeport Place lobby at 5250 Bridgeport Way West. Lions Club members will collect the donated items and deliver the gifts you’ve given from the abundance in your heart.
