Kiwanis is giving spirit

December 12, 2010 By Ben Sclair

By Mike Darrah, Publicity/Speakers, Kiwanis Club of Clover Park

kiwanis

Merry Christmas to All! Your Kiwanis Club of Clover Park is once again in the giving spirit. Funds that we raise during the year are being distributed to various local projects including: Santa’s Castle, LASA, Christmas Project, Springbrook Project, Lakewood Fire Fighters and McNeil Christmas Project to name a few. At this time of year, especially, we all feel the need to help those less fortunate as we support our local charities.

You too can help with a cash or food donation as we get ready to deliver our Christmas baskets to LASA. Lakewood Area Shelter Association helps battered women and their families in our community and your help would be greatly appreciated.

Attend a meeting, every Tuesday, 12:00-1:00 at the RAM and see what we are all about. Come help us help those families in need in your community. You may call Rudy Flores at 253.222.5779 or Mike Darrah at 253.307.2962 with your donation. Thank you.

Upcoming PROGRAMS:

* December 14…Andrea Aho, Arthritis Foundation
* December 21…No speaker planned
* December 28… Kathy Bressler, Chief Operating Officer, St Clare Hospital

For membership details contact Steve Schroeder, Members Chair at 253.984.7540 or 253.389.1843 Cell.

Also Bart Dalton, President at 253.581.2677 or 253.318.6792 Cell
