For those wondering about all the work at treatment plant along Chambers Creek, the Home Town Clipper has a detailed story of what is happening, and why. From the story:
The hillside clearing along Chambers Creek Road remedied a potential slide hazard. Kamieniecki commented, “The re-grade of the slope along Chambers Creek Road comprised approximately 10 acres. This re-grade not only provided earth material for the WWTP expansion but also addressed a problem present since the Nisqually Earthquake of 2001.”
