Virginia Conley

Virginia Lee Conley 8/3/31 – 11/16/10 Virginia was born in Brawley, California. She was shy yet wise beyond her years, graduating from Perris High School and entering junior college at the young age of 15. This dynamic, brilliant woman married John J. Conley, an airman in the USEAir Force. Together they had 5 children and raised them with steadfast commitment to family. Virginia enjoyed a wide and eclectic range of interests; Stationed in Germany she became the 1st Enlisted Non-Commissioned wife, Chairman of AWAG. Farewell Ginnie Lee, forever in our hearts, Patrick, Mary, Jennifer, Michael and Larry. A Mother’s Love Life with you was majestic, exciting and at times, quite eccentric. You opened up the universe, showing us the true power of life beyond the physical. Virginia is survived by her children, Patrick Conley of Colville, WA, Mary Field of Gig Harbor, WA, Jennifer Conley of Tacoma, WA, Michael Conley of Lakewood, WA, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Her husband, John J. Conley and son John J. Conley, Jr. preceded her in death. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home 253-584-0252. He will also be missed by his 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Ron proudly served his country in the Air Force for 22 years, and retired as Master Sargent on January 1, 1971. He then became a General Manager for a cable company until 1989. Ron loved football (GO HAWKS!) and trips to Reno. Viewing will be Wednesday December 1st from 1pm to 9pm. Service will be held in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home on Thursday, December 2nd at 10:00 am, followed by graveside services. A reception will follow at Rick & Leann Ovechka’s home.
