William C. Jones, Jr. Broadcast Journalist “CLINT JONES” In Lynnwood, WA, passed on Oct. 25, 2010. Born in Fort Knox, KY, 1952, he was the son of the late COL William C. and Tina Kinkade Jones, Steilacoom. Graduate, Lakes HS, ’71, WSU, ’75. Married to Maureen (Molly) Kennedy, ’75. His 20-yr career included KOMO, other NW radio stations; in MA, MonitoRadio, and Co-host, “Today’s Monitor” for The Christian Science Monitor Cable TV Network. Survived by daughter, Hayley Maureen Jones, college freshman; sisters Sylvia Miller (George B.), Long Beach, CA.; Kathleen Stilwell (Joseph W., III) , Fairfax, VA; nieces, nephews. Jeannie (Harumi) Egerter left us suddenly Tues., Nov 16. 2010. She will be forever in our hearts and remembered fondly as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Jeannie is survived by George, her husband of 53 years, son John, daughter Cynthia Brower, grandsons Evan and Graham Brower, and brothers Koji and Hiromi Kato in Japan. LeRoy Donald Tegner Born December 18, 1921, passed away on November 4, 2010. He was born in Oakland, CA. Lee was one of the founding members of Tacoma Mountain Rescue and was employed by the Tacoma School District #10 until he retired in the early 1980’s. Lee is survived by his wife, Dolores (Nebel), of 66 years of marriage. He is also survived by a daughter, Karen Lee Tegner Manseth, her husband, Craig, and two grandsons, Chase and Colt. Inurment services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery on Friday, November 26th, 2010.
