Obituary Notice

Jennette Melton

Mrs. Jeannette B. Melton Born 9/9/1923 in Frisco, Texas to David and Virgie Burks, she gave her life to the Lord at an early age. She was united in holy matrimony to Samuel Melton for 60 years, and after his passing became a life-long friend of Jesse (Yokum) Stephens. She moved to Tacoma as a young adult, resided here for over 60 years, and worked at Tacoma General Hospital for over 20 years. Jeannette passed away 11/14/2010 in Tacoma at the age of 87. Jeannette is survived by 6 children, 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral services will be at 12PM Friday, November 19th, 2010 in the Mountain View Aspen Chapel, Tacoma. The viewing will be at Mountain View from 1 to 9 PM on Thursday.
