Over eight years after its original grand opening in August 2002, the Spanaway branch of America’s Credit Union (ACU) has opened a new and improved building.
Remaining at its original location at 17007 Pacific Avenue South, ACU will celebrate with a community open house December 1st-3rd. This event will mark the completion of a four-month building and expansion project that increased the branch size by 2,350 square feet.
Besides a new look, the building offers safe deposit boxes, two-lane drive-up, full-service banking, ample parking, 24-Hour ATMs, online kiosks, and extra lease space for a coffee shop.
“The new branch has been expanded allowing us to offer additional services like safe deposit boxes and cash withdrawals,” said Branch Manager Justin Deutsch. “We’re thrilled that we are better able to serve our members and the Spanaway community.”
The Spanaway branch is one of 10 full-service ACU branches located in Pierce and Thurston Counties. ACU continues to grow and will open a branch in the Lakewood Walmart in March 2011.
