Bonnie Jean Aldrich was born in New Albany Mississippi on February 25, 1931 to Harvey and Mary Nell Moody. She died November 4, 2010. She had a real passion and joy for gardening, animals and always being there for her family. She passed away peacefully at her home in Puyallup after a two year inspirational battle with kidney infections and defied all odds being a 10 year cancer survivor. She fought the good fight and our family will have less in life with her passing. Bonnie is survived by her husband and life partner of 63 years, John Aldrich Sr., son John Aldrich Jr., daughter Judy Brown, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her daughter Brenda Soden. Edwardine Jane (Duppenthaler) Unruh, 89, died Sunday, November 7, 2010. Edwardine was born in Lake Cle Elum, Washington on December 2, 1920. She was the only daughter of Edward and Clara Duppenthaler. Edwardine was raised in north Tacoma and graduated from Stadium High School. She met husband, Leslie, at a USO dance and together they raised five boys. She loved to knit and crochet, play cards and go rock hunting with her brother Dallas. She believed in two vegetables on the table at dinner and no matter how many people there were, we sat down together for meals. Edwardine is survived by her brothers Roswell (Zelma), Walla Walla, WA; Dallas (Betty), Winter Garden, FL; Keith (Connie), Port Angeles, WA and by her sons: Doug (Julie), University Place, WA, Ryan (Sharla), Bothell, WA; Randy (Kathy), Tacoma, WA; and Lindsey (Karen) Longview, WA., twelve grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive her. Edwardine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother Clarion and her son Allyn. Donald Rodney Williams was born February 19, 1922, in Yakima, WA, and died November 8, 2010 in Lakewood, WA. Don served with the Marine Corps in World War II and the Army in the Korean War and Vietnam. He retired as an Army Colonel in 1972 after 29 years of military service. After retiring, Don worked as a vocational counselor for the Veterans Administration, and he was a member of Lake City Community Church for over 30 years. He and his wife Marguerite were active in missions and volunteering. Don enjoyed fishing, gardening and bowling. He had a grand sense of humor and loved to make friends. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Marguerite Young Williams, four children, his sister Linda Zweigle, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
