Dearly Departed, a drop-dead Southern comedy, is the premiere play of a new theater season at Pierce College. When Bud, the patriarch of the Tarpin family keels over dead in the opening scene, you know you’re in for a hilarious look at a dysfunctional family!
In Dearly Departed, the fall production by the Pierce College Theatre program, the colorful and cantankerous family members sort through the details of Bud’s funeral and burial, with side-splitting results.
Showtime is 7 p.m. Nov. 12, 13, 19, and 20.
