CHristian Leo

Leo Ernest Christian passed away on Monday, Oct. 18, 2010 in one of his favorite places, the woods, hunting. Leo was a man who loved his wife, children, grandchildren and many friends more than can be said. Leo was born on March 13, 1937 to parents Henry M and Edythe Christian. He attended Franklin Pierce High School and CPS (UPS). In Oct. 1956 Leo married his high school sweetheart, Sharron. They shared 54 wonderful years together. Leo is survived by Sharron, brother Larry (Ruth), daughter Vicky (Michael), son Michael (Lynn), son Jeffrey (Sherilyn), grandchildren: Georgia, Duane, Sean, Grant, Matthew, Nikki and great grandson, Chase. Service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23rd, 1pm at Mountain View Celebration of Life Center, Aspen Chapel. Reception to follow at the Scottish Rite Hall. 817 S. Vassault, Tacoma. Patricia (Mayes) Rupp Mom entered her rest surrounded by family, October 17, 2010. She was born in Tacoma, June 8, 1934. Busy yet contemplative, practical and grounded in faith, she nurtured six children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and anyone who needed encouragement, a hug or a prayer. She lived for others. She lives on in them. She is survived by her brother Earl Mayes, sons Brian Moore, Dennis Johnson (Elizabeth), Brent Moore (Heidi), Kent Johnson, Kelly Johnson (Lori), daughter Bonita (Johnson) Douglas and their families. Private burial: Friday, Oct. 22, Mountain View Memorial Park. Memorial service, 1 PM, Saturday, Nov. 6, Praise Covenant Church, 3501 S. Orchard, Tacoma. Jessie Juanita Summers, 94, is now dwelling with her Lord as of October 15, 2010. Born August 24, 1916, in Hawley, MN. to William & Bertha Spencer. She retired from HyGrade Meats after 30+ years. Juanita served her Lord at Bible Baptist Church of Puyallup 25+ years. In Dec. 1990 she married Sam Summers. Preceded in death by Sam & step-daughter Sandra (John) Hermanson. Survived by step-children Cheryl (Murel) Jewell of Puyallup, Al (Judy) Summers of Lakewood, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, her three nieces & families. Thanks to Heritage House of Buckley & Franciscan Hospice for their compassionate care. Memorial service at Bible Baptist of Puyallup, Sat.
