The FRIENDS of Lakewood Library will host a members-only and public book sale at the Lakewood Library. The members-only sales will be Tuesday, October 19 from 5:30-8 pm. Check in opens at 3 pm. Silent auction items will be available. New memberships are welcome. The public sale will be Friday, October 22 and Saturday October 23 from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. No limits at these sales.

A member appreciation night will be held Thursday, October 14, 5:30 -7:30 p.m. Members may check in beginning at 4:00 p.m. but early check-in is not necessary. If you are not yet a FRIENDS member, join and receive an attractive tote bag. At this sale only, there is a limit of 25 items per member. No boxes, carts, large containers or scanners, please. Refreshments will be served.

After the sales are finished, donations will be welcomed and may be left at the back door of the library during library hours. We do not accept encyclopedias or Reader’s Digest books. Textbooks and National Geographic Magazines printed after 2000 are accepted. Our book sale ads are always online at booksalefinder.com and booksalemanager.com. At all sales, cash or checks only. Credit or debit cards are not accepted.
