Lakewood Senior Planner Dan Penrose told a Lakewood United audience Thursday morning that a $900 million shortfall stands in the way of correcting the I-5 traffic problems through the city and into JBLM. He said over the next three years the city, state department of transportation and the military will continue studying the problems and coming up with a plan to alleviate the situation and then there will be seven years to complete the construction. The speaker said efforts are underway by all parties to solve the problems, such as opening the new gate into JBLM.
Fredric Cornell says
Dan, I am both proud and thankful for the work you have done for Lakewood residents and for all of Western Washington. Please keep up with your steadfast work for all of us commuters in the region. Thanks, again!
