‘Play tribute’ to the late Ann Tremaine

Pacific Lutheran University will present a concert celebrating the life and legacy of Ann Tremaine, PLU’s late Professor Emerita of Violin. Colleagues, friends, family, former students, and admirers will gather in Lagerquist Concert Hall on the campus of Pacific Lutheran University on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. to “play tribute” to their beloved colleague and mentor who passed away one year ago.

The Ann Tremaine Memorial Concert is part of the 2010 PLU Homecoming and is open to the public. Performing on the concert are many of Professor Tremaine’s former students who are now members of some of the regions finest ensembles including the Auburn Symphony, the Northwest Sinfonietta, the Pacific Northwest Ballet, and the Tacoma Symphony. Tickets: $8 for general admission. $5 for seniors (55+). $3 for Alumni. FREE to Students 18 & Under. Information at (253) 535-7787.
