Jaynie Jones has lived in Lakewood, Steilacoom, Fircrest, and Tacoma since 1976. For ten years, she taught Broadcast Journalism at Green River Community College. She is best known to radio listeners as “Jaynie Dillon” from KOMO, and KAYO, Seattle; KTAC, KBRD, KTNT, and KNBQ, Tacoma. She is the former owner/designer of Love Me Now Floral Design, in Steilacoom, and served as Sunshine Committee Chairperson, and two-term board member of the Chamber of Commerce. She has operated an independent medical transcription service for decades. In recent years, her career path broadened into health care marketing. Jones is currently Community Relations Coordinator for Bridgeport Place Retirement and Assisted Living, in University Place. She is a member of the University Place division of the Tacoma Pierce County Chamber of Commerce, and the Ambassadors Club. She is also active in the Lakewood and Steilacoom Chambers of Commerce. She enjoys social networking on Facebook and blogging in her leisure time.Print This Post
