LAKEWOOD, WA – Lakewold Gardens is very pleased to announce its partnership with local photographer Jim Oliver. Oliver will teach an introductory photography course specific to garden photography on Wednesdays from March 24th – April 28th from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm at Lakewold. This course is geared to the individual who has taken a few photos and would like to learn and practice new techniques, and what better place to practice your photography skills than at the beautiful gardens.

This unique format and setting will provide participants with an introduction to composition, balance, and light – then allow time to venture into the gardens to apply their new skills. Escape from the daily grind and spend a few hours a week exploring the gardens and garden photography. This is truly a wonderful opportunity for photographers at any level.

The fee for this class is $200 for members of Lakewold and $225 for non-members. Participants will need to bring their own digital camera and camera accessories. For more information about the class, required supplies, or to register for this class please contact Amanda Wood at 253.584.4106, x108.
