Sixty-three Lakes High School Distributive Education Club of America (DECA) students attended the Washington DECA Area 7 Leadership Development Competition in Tacoma Jan. 14. Thirty-two students received awards and 23 qualified for the state DECA competition in Bellevue this March.

DECA is an association of marketing business students and is the largest student club in the world. The Washington DECA Area 7 Leadership Development Competition is designed to develop leadership skills in students pursuing careers in marketing and management.
