The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound stand strongly behind our partnerships with local school districts. This ongoing relationship which provides shared resources and programs has proven to be mutually beneficial for the goals we set for children to succeed. Most of the school districts in our service area are proposing bonds or levees for public approval this February. These initiatives provide for upgrades to sadly outdated facilities or replacements for those beyond repair. They cover basic essentials for rigorous academic programming that allow our children to compete in today’s world.
These things are crucial for our schools to succeed and our children’s ability to succeed and become productive citizens. Good schools also lead to healthier communities. Most of the levees and bonds proposed will not increase taxes, but rather maintain the current tax rate. Please vote in the upcoming election and give serious thought to supporting kids, supporting our future.
Sincerely,
Greg Paine
