Pierce County Library System announces a free service to easily help people learn languages. This service is geared for people who want to study a foreign language effortlessly and at their own pace.
People may access the Mango Languages service for free with a current Pierce County Library card through the Library’s Web site, www.piercecountylibrary.org, search site: languages. Adults and kids may also access the service by using free public computers with high-speed Internet at any of 17 Pierce County Libraries.
Mango Languages currently offers 12 language courses – Brazilian Portuguese, English as a second language for Brazilian Portuguese speakers, ESL for Polish speakers, ESL for Spanish speakers, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Russian and Spanish – with many more on the way.
The language service combines linguistic expertise from across the globe with the latest software technologies, providing an easy-to-use interactive learning tool. Remote online access allows customers to learn at their convenience. The service also features a unique comprehensive teaching approach that actively engages audio and visual cues to help people better retain what they learn.Print This Post
