Postma adds to campaign staff

January 5, 2010 By Ben Sclair

Steilacoom – Businessman, rocket engineer and Republican candidate for Congress in Washington’s Ninth Congressional District, James Postma, has added a national political consulting firm to his campaign team.

James Postma today announced the addition of Kush and Associates as the general consultant to his campaign. In the 2009 election cycle, Kush and Associates founding partner, Steve Kush, served as a political director to the successful Chris Christie gubernatorial campaign in New Jersey.

“Our campaign is growing and building momentum and now is the time to take it to the next level,” Republican candidate for Congress James Postma said. “The team at Kush and Associates has the experience needed to get us to that level.”

“We’ve spent the past couple of weeks getting to know each other and James Postma is right on the issues,” Steve Kush added. “He’s got a good team in place so we’re not looking to change anything, we’re just going to improve them and move the campaign forward.”

Richard Holt of Kush and Associates will be the lead consultant to the Postma campaign. Richard has worked on congressional and senatorial campaigns around the country and been interviewed by the most prominent news media agencies in the nation, including The Wall Street Journal, US News & World Report, and The Washington Times.

“We’re excited to be joining the Postma campaign,” Richard Holt said. “James Postma’s conservative message of hard work, self-reliance, less government and greater individual freedom provides a stark contrast to the liberal record of Adam Smith and we believe the voters will respond by electing a new member of congress come November.”
