Deboraha Garnett Davis-Babbs July 27, 1954 – December 29, 2009 Deboraha was born to Richard Sr. and Nancy Davis. In September 1973, she married Collie Babbs Sr., with whom she had 5 beautiful children, Sammy (Julianne) Cubean Sr., Colette, Collie Jr., Kareem Sr. (Toni), and Rashad Babbs. She was also the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, Nakeisha Babbs, Geno Horsley III; Germe Poston, Alyshya, Sammy Jr., and Jamal Cubean; Collie III and Shaylah Babbs; Kareem Jr., Kashaud, Kollie, and Kametrius Babbs. Deboraha is survived by her children, grandchildren and siblings, Richard Davis Jr., Carol Davis, Sally Henley, John Davis, Cynthia Lamm, and Stephanie Dysert. Debbie, Our Mama, also Mama to all she knew, the Woman who could take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take. Geraldine Ann Doyle God took an angel home. Geraldine Ann Doyle (Gerry) 83, went to be with our Lord on the morning of December 25th, 2009. She died peacefully with her findal days spent surrounded by family and friends. Gerry had touched so many lives through her courage and hope which reminded us all of the preciousness of life and to live each day to the fullest. Gerry was born in Elma, Washington on October, 26th, 1926. She attended school in Tacoma, Washington, graduating in 1944. She then married Elmer W. Doyle and became the proud mother of three. Gerry was a long time business owner and accountant of the successful D&E/Dande RV for over 30 years. Her interests included family, gardening and traveling in her motor home with Elmer and her family by her side. Gerry is survived by Elmer, her loving husband of 66 years, sister Edith, son, David (Mary) Doyle, 2 daughters, Donna (Graham) Wilson, Brenda (Bob) Cohee, sister-in-law, Janice Doyle, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Jack Hamilton 01/04/54 – 11/29/09 Jack, 55, was born in Yakima, Washington and moved as a child to Tacoma/Puyallup area. Upon graduation from Puyallup High School, he went to work for Simpsons and was there for 35 years. He made many friends and saw many changes. Jack was a single dad and had many hardships raising his beautiful daughter Michelle alone. He also has a wonderful son, Jason, who now lives in Texas. Jack is survived by his daughter Michelle, son Jason, mother Marlene, sister Rene (Gary Taft) brother Randy (Susan) and many nieces and nephews. Memorial is at Mt. Kent Mundell 44 years young Kent died on December 28, 2009 from complications of injuries sustained in the line of duty. He was born on November 28, 1965 in Killeen, Texas to Walter Kent Mundell, Sr. and Patricia Stafford. Kent travelled the world growing up, settled in Puyallup, Washington, where he lived for the past 30 years, met and married his high school sweetheart, Lisa Aiken, in 1986. Kent lived life with a passion. He had many hobbies that included a variety of water and snow sports, flying, golf, camping, surfing, kite boarding, socializing at the gym, and most recently, scuba diving. Those that met him knew of his zest for life. He had an outgoing, magnetic personality, and he was loved by everyone. His greatest loves were his wife Lisa, daughter Kirsten, and son Austin. For the past 10 years, Kent served the community as a Deputy Sheriff in the Mountain Detachment of Pierce County. He enjoyed his work and was loved by his community. Kent is survived by his wife Lisa, daughter Kirsten, son Austin, all of Puyallup, Washington, father Walter Kent Mundell, Sr. of Belton, Texas, mother Patricia (Patrick) Stafford of Tacoma, Washington, sisters Dixie (Tim) Smith and Erin Aiken Davis, grandmother Laverne Calloway, and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Marcia S. Rickard passed away on December 22, 2009 in Lakewood, with her two sons at her side. Marcia was born in Watsonville, California in 1936. She grew up in the Bay Area and later earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California at Berkley. In 1960, she married David T. Rickard and moved all over the world with him during his 26 year Air Force career. They finally settled down and have made Lakewood their home for the last 25 years. Marcia is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years who passed away just last July, and her mother (Corinne B. Savage) and father (John J. Savage). She leaves behind two sons and their families who will miss her dearly; Matt (Pam) of Nampa, Idaho, Ted (Ilene) of Olympia and 3 grandchildren; Ashley, Damon & Trace. At her request, there will be no memorial service. There will be a private ceremony at Tahoma National Cemetery, were she will be interred with her loving husband, David. Julie Doreen Tinajero Born July 1959, at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. Julie would soon be moved to California, where she spent most of her childhood and adult life, married and had two children. She would then move to Spanaway in 1994. She is survived by her husband of nearly 28 years, son, daughter, grandson, mother and father, and two sisters.
