Following is an email from Corey Campbell, owner of Classy Chassis regarding the loss of his son. Our thoughts and prayers go to Jacob and the entire Campbell family.
It is with the deepest of hearts, Lisa and I must share the passing of our son Jacob (7) late last night at Mary Bridge Hospital. He has struggled his entire life with heart complications and last night the Lord brought him home to rest in Peace. It happened suddenly and quickly. The team at Mary Bridge, upwards of 20 staff, worked for over an hour and half to revive Jacob, but to no answer. We ask for your prayers of strength and comfort for our remaining two sons Collin (14) and Brandon (2), Lisa who devoted her last seven years to willing Jacob to survive and me in finding the strength to hold my family up. We will do all we can to communicate and create a Facebook Page of Jacob soon.
I leave you knowing our son Jacob is now an Angel of the Lord and smiles upon us in this very dark time,
Corey, Lisa, Collin and Brandon
Blessings to you all,
We are humbled by the outpouring of support and blessed to have a strong family, Faith and friends to share in our loss. Words cannot describe the emptiness eating at us, but our Faith will strengthen us as we proceed. We have begun a face book site for Jacob and all his friends to share. Please visit Jacob Campbell Memorial Facebook Fan Page. We have information on there for donations in lieu of flowers. If you can’t access it, I have posted the information below. We will be updating the pictures over the next day, so please revisit occasionally to see what others add. You are welcome to add messages and memories here. We also may have a memory book with Mountain View Cemetery after tomorrow.
As for services, we will have concrete plans tomorrow and will post on Jacob’s face book page by Wed evening and also in the Tacoma News Tribune on Thursday or Friday. We are pretty sure that services will be Monday the 4th of January. We will have a private memorial and a public celebration. The public celebration will likely be at 2 pm at Our Savior Lutheran on 112th St. in Tacoma between Portland Ave and Canyon Rd.
In Lieu of flowers we ask for donations to either:
Mended Little Hearts of Puget Sound
Make checks payable to: Mary Bridge Hospital and mail to:
2008 46th St. NW,
Gig Harbor, Wa 98335
2732 East Main Ave
Puyallup, Wa 98372
They both are a very important part of Mary Bridges Heart program to care for both the patient’s and the families.
