  1. Paul and Bobbie Clow says

It has been a blessing to know Davette Barksdale. She was our choir director at Greater Jackson Memorial COGIC now known as The Fountain of Life COGIC under the Leadership of of the Late Bishop JA Blake, Sr and now Pastor JA Blake, Jr. What a blessing she was to us all. She was also with me when I had my first child, Samuel R. Clow born on Easter, March 30, 1986. She was with me through the entire process. She was there with me to support me when they did an emergency c-section. Sameul was breached and would not turn around. She was there to hold my hand and help me through the process. She was there when I was in the intensive care unit and drove me home from the hospital when I was able to come home. What a blessing Davete was to me. She was always encouraging me when I needed it. I will always remember her love for our family.
