Connie Coleman-Lacadie, a 12-year member of the Clover Park School District Board of Directors, ended her tenure at the Dec. 14 board meeting. During her time on the board, Coleman-Lacadie served as president, vice president, board legislative representative and co-chair of the Clover Park Citizens Committee for Schools.

The board presented Coleman-Lacadie with a commemorative collage highlighting her time on the board. They also gave her a “thank you” cookie bouquet.

Coleman-Lacadie has been involved in Clover Park schools for 24 years. She began as an advocate for her son and continued as an advocate for all kids.

Coleman-Lacadie did not seek reelection to the board this year. Her position, director of district 3, was filled by Joe Vlaming, who was sworn in by Lakewood Municipal Judge Ernest Heller. Marty Schafer, director of district 4, and Paul Wagemann, director of district 5, were also sworn in at the Dec. 14 meeting.
