Lakewood Advisory Boards to hold joint meeting

December 14, 2009 By Ben Sclair

The City of Lakewood Planning Advisory Board (PAB) and Citizens’ Transportation Advisory Board (CTAC) will hold their rescheduled joint meeting on Wednesday, December 16 from 6-7:30 pm at the Pierce Transit Training Facility (3790 – 96th St. SW – across from Pierce Transit headquarters). Following is the agenda:

This date is reserved for PAB and CTAC members to participate in Pierce Transit’s “PT Tomorrow’ planning process.

Let’s design our transit system to meet the challenges of the future.

Help us make choices about priorities and efficiencies that will be necessary in these difficult economic times. You don’t need to be a public transportation expert to help us design service options. We invite you to give input on the following:

  • Prioritizing service. The economic recession has shown us that we can’t always have everything.
  • Where you’d like to see improvements and least like to see reductions. Destinations? Time of day? Frequency? This is your opportunity.
  • Regional connections. Travel beyond Pierce County is important to a growing number of transit riders.

All regular business will be suspended for the evening, and business will be limited solely to the Pierce Transit workshop. No action will occur.
