Steilacoom Museum Annual Meeting and Dinner held Saturday night

CANTATE HOME SCHOOL CHOIR - Entertainment at the annual meeting of the Steilacoom Historical Museum Association was presented by a choir of home schooled youngsters. They sang a number of Christmas carols and received a standing ovation at the end.

PLUM PUDDING SALE TO MILITARY - Gen. John Shalikashvili led the candle-light procession of armed forces veterans delivering the customary plum pudding to those attending the annual meeting of the Steilacoom Historical Museum Association. Behind Gen. Shaliskashvili is his wife, Joan. This year the association asked veterans to carry in the plates of plum pudding in recognition of the many members of the armed services living in Steilacoom and serving the country here and abroad.

TOP VOLUNTEER - Ellen Balls (right) receives the Lee Merrill Fellows Award during the Steilacoom Historical Museum Association annual banquet from Joan Curtis, winner of the award in 2002. Instituted in 1990 to recognize volunteers who quietly and effectively contribute to the association, it is named for the association's second president.
