Red Ribbon Bazaar

November 24, 2009 By Ben Sclair

Saturday, Dec. 5 is a “red letter” day in Steilacoom—make that a “Red Ribbon” Day. That’s the date for the 12th annual Red Ribbon Bazaar at Steilacoom High School Commons, and if you’ve never been there, start a new tradition this year.

Payment of a $1 entrance fee admits you to an Aladdin’s Cave filled with lots of treasures. The seven-hour event begins at 9 a.m.

What’s to buy? Everything from handmade tribal flutes, to one-of-a-kind jewelry, from festive holiday décor and fragrant candles to whimsical stationery, all ideal for giving or personal enjoyment.

Wait! There’s more! This bazaar has everything including lunch and entertainment, featuring holiday music performed by area school choirs.

Wrap up your shopping, and tie it with a Red Ribbon. The bazaar takes place at 54 Sentinel Drive. Questions? Contact redribbonbazaar@hotmail.com
